Memorial day is for honoring those that gave their life for our country. It's also a time to honor the sacrifices of those that survived by the grace of God.

My father served for 21 years. He retired as a Master Seargent. He fought in Vietnam. He served as a mechanic. He served as a counter terrorist operative. He served as a Fire Direction Control Officer for an 8in Howitzer Unit. We thank God that he survived his military career. And we thank him for giving the younger part of his life in the service of his country.
